3.05- 3.12. My grammar (Kelley) says that qamets-hatuf is pronounced like o in cost – ie shorter than the way you have it. Is there a difference of view on this?

There are some disagreements over how certain consonants and vowels are pronounced. In my opinion, the disagreements are minor. They are worthy to discuss, but they do not impede the study of Hebrew.
